This was very Hard to Post because knowing that I wouldn't be here today to post this still scares me, but maybe my reason for living is because I'm supposed to educate fellow Ladies who might not know the risk ..: I was taking birth control for a 2 month period to control abnormal menstrual cycle, when the bleeding got to intense I was told to up- triple the dose a day of birth control To control the bleeding with no warning of the blood clot side effects .. within week of the increase I had pain in my legs and feet, not knowing it was related I went to urgent care to discover I was misinformed that I had plantar fasciitis, the pain was so bad that I scheduled a podiatrist 2 weeks after being told I had PF, once I was sign that doctor told me to get a ultrasound in my legs sure enough they found 3 blood clots in my legs after I had pain in my chest which lead to a ct scan result of more blood clots .. all of which this was by the minute decision . Now I'm being put on blood thinners for the next year having to do test every month and just live with fear all because I was told the BC pill can help regulate my cycle but it ended up almost unloving me .. this is your sign stop taking it or if your thinking about it don't .. it's not worth your life ! #birthcontrolpill #birthcontrolsideeffects #bloodclotsurvivor #bloodclotsurvivor

It’s been almost 5 years since one of the scariest experiences in my life... even as a healthy Individual, the doctors called me the “perfect storm” when It came to what landed me In the ICU with blood clots In 2019.
